Heather is a sustainable seafood professional with experience in both farm-raised and wild caught. She currently works as the Maine Aquaculture Hub Coordinator for Maine Sea Grant, where she is developing a plan to strengthen the state’s aquaculture industry. Heather has a background in seafood supply chains, aquaculture production, sustainable fisheries management, and communications, and gained international seafood perspectives during her work with a Chilean salmon producer and with the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture.

As National Account Manager at Patagonia Sea Farms, Heather was responsible for contract-based seafood sales in retail and foodservice as well as daily market movement with distributors across North America, thus managing business relationships and orchestrating international seafood shipping logistics. She has a Masters in Coastal Zone Management from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from Florida State University.
